If you have broken ceramic pottery, don't throw them in the dustbin. There are ways to fix them.  Lets follow the below steps  -

 

1. Collect all the parts at one place.

 

2. Clean the broken edges of all the parts of the pottery. Try to remove the dust from the edges.

 

3. Take the largest part of the broken pottery and apply the adhesive on the edges.

 

4. Attach the smallest part of the broken pottery first and attach the other parts in same order.

 

5. Once all the parts have been attached, take a bucket full of beans and place the pottery in it. This will give the proper balance to the pottery.

 

6. Depending on the type of adhesive used, leave the pottery to dry for the required no of days as mentioned in adhesive booklet.

 

If the ceramic pottery is microwave safe, the repaired ceramic pottery might not be suitable depending on the adhesive. Its better to use the repaired pottery for decorative purpose.
