London the capital city is notorious for its air pollution more than its beauty and  technology. Every year smog slows the traffic, increases crimes and accidents takes place, thousands of people die because of this pollution.Lets take a pledge today.Let us celebrate this christmas and coming new year in a new way. Lets make this festive time  pollution free and minimize the pressure we are putting on the atmosphere. Because noone want to live life carrying oxygen cylinder at back, or wearing mask, or sitting under air purifier, which is what the future is, if we dont address the pollution on this verge.

 

For this lets first analyze what are the sources adding to our atmospheric pollution.

The  number one culprit of our beautiful atmosphere is the smoke and pollution emitted by our vehicles.Use public transport to minimise the pollution. Those who can't use public transport and uses cars or bikes to travel to destination, should use car pulling, or bike sharing or taxi sharing.

The number two culprit is the industrial emmisions in the form of polluted fumes, polluted water or solid waste. These wastes instead of throwing in the atmosphere, should be recycled. The fumes containing toxic gases and impurities should be treated in waste treatment plant. They should be allowed to go in the air only after proper tests that shows that they are completely harmless to the flora and fauna of the earth. Similarly the waste water also should be treated to make completely harmless and then only allowed to be mingled with mainland water sources. Also instead of dumping them in main river, should be recycled for different human uses. This will not only help towards reducing pollution but also address the scarcity of water, another human concern in this era. The solid waste also should be passed through treatment plants and converted into completely harmless waste. Then only should be allowed to thrown outside. For this government and the common man both will have to work together to make it success. Government is already taking strict actions to address pollution. However untill and unless we people will not think about it, no progress will take place. So we will have to think on it because already we are drowning in this polluted sea. Industrialist if take this matter seriously and decide not to let the polluted air, water or garbage dumped in open, then only pollution will be controlled.

The future is in our own hands, with two choices, either we want to force our kids to live with oxygen mask, air purifuier homes etc or want them to live a normal life with greenery around.
